Default Far Clip Pane
Does anyone know the logic behind not allowing us to adjust the far clip plane? Kind of odd to restrict that sort of thing..

I’m not aware of that being the case, what are seeing when you adjust it?

Deathrydar check your eqclient.ini for ClipPlane make sure it's set to 20

I think you're confusing clip plane issues with the environmental bug that is affecting zones with fog such as Nektulos and Toxx. There's a fix for it but I'm too lazy to dig it up for you.
