Default Out of control fog walls in Feerrott

Is this kind of thing normal? It doesn't look like this on the project 1999 wiki.

Feerrott is one of those zones with an abysmally short draw distance, and when it's raining that draw distance shrinks even more. It's normal.

It's that short even when it isn't raining. It doesn't seem to change at all for me. So what I've got is the authentic experience, and the screenshot on the wiki isn't? Maybe it's just a trick of the angle and lighting of the shot.

I haven't wanted a longer draw distance this badly since Turok 2.
