The boat
I am all for nostalgia and keeping the boat in, but can we make it maybe a 5 or 10 min wait instead of 30+ min? I think this is an acceptable QoL change for a server that is barely maintaining a 500 population at peak.

For P99's late Velious era, both the Erud's Crossing and Ocean of Tears ships should be changed to two ships per region with separate east-west routes and accordingly shorter wait times at the end terminals. It's a timeline change that was never implemented, one of the relative handful of outstanding nonclassic things lingering on P99.
I can remember when P99 had no working ships at all, just translocators. My paladin still has a macro set for the /say command to trigger them. So to some extent I'm glad staff was able to get ships working at all--seemingly not an easy task. | ||

I like the boat wait. Very nostalgic and chill in the hectic p99 world
