One of the things you'll learn about this forum is that even if you are were truly preyed upon by douchebags and have a valid causus belli for submitting a thread here, people will find a reason to further troll and flame you especially when you make it easy for them, which you did.

The worst thing you can do is feed into it, especially with details about your personal life (o lawd lol), because it's exactly what they want and it's what entertains them. Reading about how some people were mean to you on an overcrowded highly contested server isn't fun. Pillorying an OP who brags about his e-cred is quite fun.

I played p99 for 6 years and never ran into any problems with others outside of the high-end raid scene. The community here is one of the best in games today, just don't judge it off of the posters here in RnF.

Currently Diamond in Overwatch and League of Legends, and have played WoW for about 16 years. I wouldn't describe myself as a casual gamer by any means.

Every single time I try to play this game another player has to ruin it for me.

I've got Zulukid (Zulukingg) intentionally charming mobs I've rooted and malo'd, and just summoned a pet for, saying how is he supposed to know I was trying to kill it? I have Omniphobiax calling me names and attacking me for killing a single halfling guard because apparently he thinks if he's camping the 5 guards at the gate in Misty Thicket that means he also gets exclusive rights to every single guard in the entire zone.

I go to North Karana and start killing bridge guards when I ask in OOC about the NPCs upstairs and whether or not they are worth the experience, only to have Kynari message me to inform me that the bridge is camped by them and that they teleported out to sell. I wait 5 minutes and still never see them, but don't want drama so I gate to across the continent, only to see them in Freeport and realize that they never even bothered going to the camp after chasing me off.

I wait 3 days to get the Treant camp only to have a Magician named Godie show up 40 minutes later and tell me he's a GM and that I have to give him the camp before he proceeds to grief me until I leave.

This is all within a 24 hour time period.

Why do I know all of these names? Because I screenshotted literally all of this.

How many of you specifically realize that you are the main reason the community on this game sucks?

There are absolutely a ton of shitheads in this community and once you reach a certain level, they all start to stand out. I've taken multiple breaks due to people being cunts.

It's unfortunately a byproduct of the game being 21 years old and every person trying to min-max.

Stop running your mouth so much both in game and on forums/reddit/facebook/discord and maybe listen to other people once in a while. Also stop using "ngl" after at least 50% of your in-game chat messages.

Stop spending every day of your life playing EQ and day drinking until you pass out.

Stop denying that you have problems and seek mental health treatment IRL.

Glad to see you leveled up another useless class that won't be able to do shit without a group because no one is going to want to help you do anything once you hit 50 and they can't use you for experience anymore.

Rogue Spear was huge when 9/11 happened. Doesn't take a genius to realize that a kid who has spent the last 2 years of his life playing an FPS would want to join the ARMY and go Special Forces during a time period where enlistment was at an all-time high due to our country being attacked.

My uncle was special forces as were a couple guys I know through him. One thing I can tell you they don’t do is tell everyone how they were special forces etc. They also certainly don’t have the temperament you seem to have where they would have a total meltdown over people not agreeing with their meltdown over people in an emulated MMO. Generally the guys I know who have actually been special forces have had their perspective on life changed to the extent that small BS like this barely phases them since in many cases they know life could be much worse (or in many cases are simply lucky to be alive).

No one who has actually been in special forces comes on a video game forum to talk about how they were in it to try and sound like a tough guy/impressive to random gamers.

The issue is that you play Little kids games like overwatch and league of legends instead of adult games that take skill like counter strike and DOTA.
