no spoilers plz halfway through episode 1 but I am hoping someone explains to me why
 
a debtor would want someone that owes them money dead instead of working in a factory.

People can have their debt used as motivation to do things that don't necessarily align with their best interests.

Boring shit done to death with the excuse to show traditional games.

started with king and running man and went to battle royal hunger games the prey long etc.
