You can't totally overreact to a situation and then blame the person for making you overreact. If someone gets out of their car at a red light and angrily approaches your car, you can't shoot them and claim self-defense. In many states you can't shoot them even if they break your window (blue states usually).

That woman Ashli Babbitt that was shot because she was climbing through the window? Did she deserve to be killed?

People have this wild idea that Jan 6th was like some organized militia armed to the teeth when in reality it was mostly a bunch of idiots wanting selfies and other nonsense.

FYI, I don't blame the officers that shot and killed those idiots, but I do blame idiots on the left that work this incident up as if it was some sort of armed insurrection attempt.
