People do in fact have freedom of speech. Something that's lost though is a lot of people think that also means they have freedom from consequences of that speech.....unfortunately you're learning the hard way that there are in fact consequences to what you say.

Did you know the Soviet Union had "freedom of conscience"? They claimed it was the best freedom of all. Like they tell you to go out and murder some kulaks and you're like ok my conscience is free cause I'm doing the Party's work.
