Coming from the perspective of wanting to be as popular/successful as possible (which is not her goal, just speaking in generalities) then it is smart to be politically neutral

Why possibly alienate half your audience? Then again if you don’t care and want to get some messages out (that I personally think are already echo’d almost everywhere other than Fox News and 4chan), by all means have at it. I certainly am not going to try to silence someone because what they say hurts my feels
