Default Quest turn-in gone wrong

Quick question. When a quest giver eats my turn-in, whats the best way to go about the turn-in next time (if I were to redo the quest)?

Is it best to just turn in each individual quest piece 1 by 1 until the cycle is reset?

ie: darkforge boots, turn in the 2 fairy dust and 2 decayed pieces 1 by 1?

I would turn in all items at once, you should be guaranteed the reward then.

But others may have better advice!

Don't forget, always give items unstacked!

Its best to explain to us how exactly you turned in when the turn in failed. That gives us the best chance to determine what mistake you made.
