you're right to ignore MSM news on these matters, they are playing some weird shell game, and it seems like the MSM is trying to carry a narrative that they don't understand. So one can safely assume they are only reporting what they are spoon fed.

youtube: task & purpose, reallifelore, alternatehistoryhub - these channels made some really insightful vids about the conflict, and deutsche welle seems like the only news agency out there who is trying to paint a complete picture, but even they aren't reporting much in the way of ukrainian losses.

but one can employ simple math and discern that this conflict is going very bad for russia, british intelligence reported that their forces have been reduced to 75% combat effective. meaning that the ukrainians have killed or destroyed 25% of the force russia started with.

I sincerely recommend that people check out those channels for info they won't find on the news, facebook etc.
