Question Fiery Defender: Tainted Darksteel BP MQ

I have a guildmate who looted the Tainted Darksteel BP.

Does my guildmate have to have "Warmly Faction" for their turn in first if I wanted to MQ the "Gleaming Crested Breastplate"?

MQ'd the breastplate a little over a month ago, as a paladin lacking warmly faction, and it worked without issue. Can't recall what the turn-in NPC conned, but it was not exactly favorable.

Almost certain the NPC conned apprehensively. If wanting to be on the safe side, your guildmate can always use hide or get invised after opening trade to become indifferent.

Sword and BP MQs require either apprehensive or indifferent faction.

Invis turnins work for them. Just turn in the tainted darksteel BP/sword when it cons indifferent then turn in the crystal or bucket of water when it come indifferent on the paladin and you get your cleansed one.

Mark of Atonement should also require indifferent. I did them all on my paladin pre-40s without any faction work.
