Default Rogue diety?

Just read in another post that you dont want to choose a diety as a rogue because llusions can be seen through. My dwarf rogue is bristlebane at lvl 18. Have i majorly gimped my self? Should I re roll? Also thinking about going human thoughts?

No body cares about Bristlebane, except for zekkers ... pretty much only the cracknek warriors will give you problems and they all stick to their basement in Oggok.

If you cannot buy a click of puppet strings to get your OT hammer and you aren't a dark elf, I'd recommend agnostic. With DE mask + ovp, you'd start at indifferent. You'd need to turn in about 20-25 sets of 4 braids to get an OT hammer.

Otherwise, I don't know of any benefits of religion for rogues.

Bristlebane is fine. It won't cause you any problems at all. Don't reroll.

I confused bristlebane with brell - sorry... i don’t think you’ll have any major problems anywhere with bristlebane. It is brell that zek don’t like.

I’ve rerolled chars in their 50s, it’s not a big deal. We’re on a forever locked server there’s no rush so you should really love your race/class/deity etc.

Personally if you’re hesitant I’d reroll to human just for rarity as there’s a lot of dwarf rogues running around. Eyepatch inny human would be Hella cool, although agnostic is technically your best move with illusion masks.

Bristlebane is not only the coolest diety it is one of the best functionally.

I can go in every city with a DE mask and Bristlebane.
