Calm down everyone
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-1...ll-flynn-story "During a live Special Report, ABC News reported that a confidant of Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn said Flynn was prepared to testify that then-candidate Donald Trump instructed him to contact Russian officials during the campaign. That source later clarified that during the campaign, Trump assigned Flynn and a small circle of other senior advisers to find ways to repair relations with Russia and other hot spots. It was shortly after the election, that President-elect Trump directed Flynn to contact Russian officials on topics that included working jointly against ISIS." "Fake News" strikes again

I'm kind of iffy on whether or not Flynn matters at all. Is it like a big "I told you so" about Trump being a moron or something? Trump fired him, and everyone knows he's a moron anyway.
Obviously this is just a way to keep the Russian conversation going.

Once again Mitch McConnell -- one of the richest men in the senate despite that he only ever worked for government -- saves the day for Republicans.
I don't understand how the red necks in Kentucky that vote him in aren't aware that very little happens in Washington without McConnell's approval. He plays ultra conservative card in public and with his voting record. However, behind the scenes hes the big centrist lining up the votes for every fucked up policy since the Bush era. McConnell is the Republican Hillary Clinton. He's just smart enough not to try to be president. Edit: Seriously, Hillary would have been a lot better off staying a Senator.

Reading The Federalist to me -- is like putting a tin bucket over my head and banging the outside with a hammer. Add a banjo in the background that kicks up from time to time and that's what I call The Federalist Experience.
But they did publish this interesting article: I’m A Liberal, And I Agree With Sean Hannity That American Journalism Is Dead I guess The Federalist doesn't realize that this doesn't mean the Democratic party is doomed. They just don't see the connection to the Sander's populism to come. DNC insiders bet in good with the Sanders butt kissers now if they want to be spared later.
