I'd say the word is necessary.

The only people who think the word only applies to blacks in terms of a racial slur, are the people who the word describes perfectly.

"React pretty badly" means what, exactly?

Because from what I've seen time and time again nothing will happen to the offender. It is the number one reason I won't touch the red server; the inmates running the asylum. There are screenshots all over this board of players bragging about their gratuitous use of racial epithets, and they're still here. Make this server a place where adults feel comfortable spending their hobby time instead of pandering to the juvenile mob which as of now appears to operate with total impunity and maybe you guys will see a server pop over 150 again.

I see no reason to dance around the word, or any word for that matter.

If we aren't using it in any racial slang/slur, why not allow people to discuss it in RnF? Talking about the word and using it in a derogatory way are 2 different things.

However, I've noticed the only people to get warnings or forum suspensions from using the word, were people that used it correctly and not people that were using it as a racial slur.
