yeah but the question was whether trump did russia any favors, and he did.
Trump armed Ukraine which is about the closest we came to war with Russia since the 80s.

That's because the possibility of an indictment against Trump has been dead for a long time.

But, the possibility of impeachment is still alive and kicking. For what, I haven't a clue. The democrats are like a dog with a bone. They just can't let it go, despite the lack of evidence against Trump. Maybe a new thread titled "I M P E A C H M E N T" needs to be started to reflect the change.

Obama was a good president and a decent person. Do you have any good opinions?
During the housing crisis under Obama, active duty members of the armed forces had their homes foreclosed while they were deployed overseas in violation of law. Many of them committed suicide. Not a single bank executive served time.

What a surprise since his grandfather was a director of a bank that had its assets seized under the Trading With the Enemy Act during WWII. Investigators concluded that the bank was controlled by Fritz Thyssen, a steel monopolist whose memoir was entitled I Paid Hitler.

The banks should never have been bailed out. They should have taken their lumps for what they did. How are they ever going to learn if they keep being bailed out. It encourages them to do it again.

Of course, the banks did what they did because of policies put in place by the Clinton administration and continued in the Bush administration. But, that's no excuse. They could have done better.

I mostly agree with everything else in your post. I'd add: keep your doctor, lower costs... yeah, riiight. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Thanks a lot Obama. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
There were two rounds of massive bailouts. Banks made all these predatory loans that were never sustainable and poor business practice, they weren't sustainable, they should of gone out of business, but instead were greatly awarded.

What other business can you pile crippling debt due to greed and get billion dollar bailouts from the government? Nice industry to be in if you run them.

And in the first two years of Trump's administration they curtailed almost every regulation that limited the scope of such actions by banks, so now it's back to Clinton and Bush levels of regulation; and the process begins again.

IMO Trump's new found love for immigration(but legal) is about keeping property prices hot. There's a real estate bubble right now. Lots of younger people aren't buying homes like they used to. And the market can't crash or we'll be launched into a major recession/depression. Trump needs to keep the economy hot or he's cooked.

He'll bank on an Iran conflict with Bolton's guidance too. A move akin to what Bush did with Iraq. The news cycle workings are already in motion, and troop increases have been announced; will Iran's hand be forced?

Here's something to chew on economically https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iranian_oil_bourse
