All her life her appearance has been at the center of her material security, social standing, & virtually every friendship. She has a lot of anxiety about how she looks. Even when she's intentionally adjusting her weight, I bet she begins to feel fat almost immediately during gain cycle and that her body looks different to her within days of eating more than 2000 cal. I bet she quadruple checks herself in the mirror every time she's about to go out, and that her standards cut her ego to pieces every single time even though she's the best looking and best dressed person in the room 99% of the time.
It really sucks how the uggo average has no sympathy for how difficult that state of being is. It's totally acceptable for the polite press to mock this woman's appearance. There is nothing she can do about who she is and it is downright vicious to mock her for it in -at least- equal measure as it would be to mock an obese. And mocking her smacks of bitterness anyway -- I think she's beautiful.
