Default Buffs Stripped After Zoning

Happened 2x last night to me. Both times when zoning from Upper Guk into Innothule Swamp. Every single buff gone upon entering Innothule Swamp. Very strange. Not sure if just me or what. Figured I should report it. Thanks!!

If your current HP is lower than a certain threshold (I think its the amount of hp added from worn gear) it will strip all buffs on zoning.

So if you have 2 5/55 rings and your hp is lower than 110, bye bye buffs.

Was told it's classic, but I don't remember either way.

It's almost classic. In classic you would be given the number of hitpoints you had from +HP gear. If you're a level 5 character with a base hitpoints of 180 but you're wearing +500 in items you'll show unbuffed 680 total hitpoints. If you zone under 500 hitpoints you'll lose all buffs but you'll zone out at 500 hitpoints.

This was commonly exploited for low level twinks to self power level. Every time you zoned you were restored the hitpoints on your gear, IE: healed up to 500 in the above scenario but you would lose all buffs. On this server, though, you now merely lose buffs and no hitpoints are restored. It's kind of a 'tweaked' classic feature they almost got right.

Default Working as Intended then.

Very Strange, I don't remember that from the Classic era, but that was a long time ago and my memory isn't as good as it once was.

It is working then as intended, tried it again today... full health no buff loss... low health= bye bye Clarity [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] ...

Thanks for the reply and info [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
