have you overdosed on marmite??

`Something to consider: This robe can only be used by human, dark elf, and gnome rogues. It's one of two rogue wearable robes on this server and extremely nice for that slot. That's why picking wood elf over dark elf is my biggest regret on Cecily.`

most obtuse thing ive heard in years!
I don't understand. High HP, huge resists, is a pretty blue dress. What's.. obtuse.. about that? It's the BIS chest piece for rogues.
And I can't ever have it.

I have become used to my rogue looking like an upper class hobo.

Just recently my arms bracer and gloves all match (sort of)... it has rocked my world.

There's nobody you should trust more than Cecily around here when it comes to advice about Rogues. I fucking love being a Dwarf, but I sure wish I would wear a PD robe.

Should always dump as many points into STA as you can too. STR is super easy to cap as a Rogue, even without stacking Maniacal + Focus.

You need to create a dark elf rogue. You can have that awesome blue dress. You can!

obtuse in british parlance, tends to mean....far removed from the normal. or ` sky blue thinking` ` its ratehr outside the box` `its an obscure reason`

What race is best and starting point to take ? if you dont take barbarian ?
non autistic answer:

any race you can't mask illusion into, it doesn't matter.

humans and half elves are based because nobody knows you're a rogue if you take your epic off.

gnome is by far the best on red in velious. wall looking is good for indoor dungeon pvp, where rogues are most dangerous, and primal can get your player model comically small. the only thing that matters on red is how small you can get your model with shrink pots/primal proc.

on blue, your race choice will never make any difference. pd robe is cool for fashion quest but there are better chests in velious and they're easier to get. gnome wall seeing might help with a few sneak pulls i guess. if you want to get really autistic halflings, then dwarves have the best starting stats but it doesn't matter because you can max the 3 important stats with buffs in pre-raid gear.
