Default IP Exemption

Hello! I was curious if IP exemption allows multiple peoples accounts to play together regardless of their IP or if their IP changes will they have to request another? I only ask because my wife and I are waiting for an IP exemption and it has taken a few days so far. Sorry if this information was posted somewhere and I missed it!

I believe they flag your specific accounts as specifically not blocking each other.

Indeed. It's applied to your account. It's not really practical to apply it to your IP address.

I'm fairly certain there's a backlog of people waiting weeks for exemption. They do them in batches, but they'll get to them. It's summertime and GMs have busy real lives.

Ty all for the responses! Yeah I didn't think they would actually do it by IP but didn't see a harm in asking anyways. I played the original for 10+ years and met my wife there so I'm fine waiting for this amazing project! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Sorry I'm a newb when it comes to post. Where do I go to request an exemption. I finally convinced my wife to play this "ancient" game and want to get on it before she changes her mind : )

our exemption that was submitted mid july just recently got set up for us, so the support folks are definitely working through the queue of requests but it looks like the current turnaround is 7-8 weeks.

How exactly do you go about filing to obtain an exemption? Have been browsing everywhere with no luck. Thanks!
