Game of Thrones Season Premiere giveaway/event

This will be a 3 hour event, Starting at 6 CST on Saturday the 13th. It will be a 3 part event. The first part will be a 2 hour race to achieve the highest level possible. Part 2 will be everyone cooperating to defeat some Game of Thrones inspired "Bosses". Part 3 will be a FFA PVP battle with the last man standing getting 50,000 platinum pieces.

So what do you need to do to be eligible to participate? Simple.

Create a level 1 toon of any Class/race Combo with a Game of Thrones inspired name. Turn in your Book of Discord into the Priest of Discord, enabling you as a PVP player (red name).

YOU CAN>

Fill your inventory with any bags/containers you want.
Purchase all of your Spell you want up to level 19.
Purchase Food/Drink.
Train your Skills at your GM (not by attacking or casting spells)
Set up your UI's.
YOU CAN NOT>
Have any EQUIPMENT or CLICKIES.
Get buffs.
Kill any mobs for xp.
Attack any mobs for Skill ups.
Have ANY items other than Spells/Containers/Food/Drink.

Once you have created your toon and obtained all legal items for the competition you will be Parking outside Rivervale in Misty Thicket.

PART 1>
We will start off by having a Cooperative race to obtain the highest level possible in 2 hours. You will be limited to Mobs and Quests inside of Rivervale/Misty Thicket/ Runneye. There will be "Quest Givers" from The Second Sons that will task you with quests inside of the available zones, along with the in game quests. THERE IS TO BE NO PVP during the first 2 hours. This is purely a cooperative race for Levels. Make friends, make alliances, Rush runnyeye! You will be ALLOWED TO EQUIP AND USE items you are given by Quest Givers or found on mobs inside of MT/Runnyeye.

PART 2>

After everyone has spent 2 hours equipping/xping, we will have a "Boss" fight. This is mostly for fun and will have an "Attack the wall" theme. With the first 3 encounters being 3 medium difficulty Players vs everyone and the Final one being Everyone Vs 1 Hard difficulty Player. Done lose your Equipment/body in this stage cause you are going to need it for!!!!!!!

PART 3>

Everyone will move to a pre decided "arena" where we will have a FFA last man standing PVP battle for the Jackpot!


I am doing this event out of my love for P99 and for Game of Thrones. This event is taking the time and planning of many people. I ask that anyone who comes to compete come with the GOOD FAITH INTENTIONS to follow the rules. I know it is a Lot of platinum and everyone is excited for the chance to win, but please respect the time and effort involved.

Some quick Q & A I have gotten so far.

Can I pre purchase Bone Chips/Malachites to summon my pets?
>>>No you can not start the event with anything Besides Bags/Food/Water/Spells. You can sell stuff you have LOOTED OFF A MOB, in Rivervale and buy w.e you want. Do not sell your spells to have money to buy armor/reagents.

Can I make XXX class and YYY race for the event?
As long as the name is reference towards Game of Thrones, you can make any combination of class/race. However being a KoS toon locked inside of Misty/RV/Runnyeye may prove to be quite a challenge in of it self.

Can we work together to win the Prize and split it?
Make alliances, break alliances, kill your friends. Its all about the strategy here and there is one win Scenario. Be the last man standing.

What have I possibly overlooked on starting a character who can win?
Level 1, no XP. Game of Thrones reference Name. Follow the rules and play with intent of following the system set for the event. TURN IN YOUR BOOK OF DISCORD. Be in MT with said toon Before 6 CST Saturday.

What suggestions do you make for me to optimize my chance to win?
Make your Toon early. Get him Bags/food/water/spells. Train him at your trainer (DO NOT ATTACK OR CAST SPELLS TO IMPROVE YOUR SKILLS). Set up your UI. Have a plan. Explore Misty Thicket/runnyeye.

Just a thought, how can you buy food/water/bags if you're starting at level 1 with no XP? Are entrants allowed to have a "plat injection" from other characters?

Yes more or less you can use PP from another toon to set it up with bags/food/water/the spells you want. However the items you give your toon (the allowed ones) are not to be resold once the race starts to give yourself currency. It is literally for the intent so everyone isnt a Gimped Naked Monk with no skills and spells. It is to allow for Classes/races who dont start in Misty area to have a level playing field with those who start there. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

You must obtain anything other then Food/water/spells/bags by Killing something in Misty Thicket and selling what it drops. You can not sell you spells / bags for the money to buy reagents. You can not buy anything besides FOOD WATER SPELLS OR BAGS before the 2 hour leveling begins !
