What problem pet have with number 53?
I know it can sound stupid or hot worth the time spent, but i always wanted to know why pets cant hit for 53 in p1999.
Im saying it after i seen every pet cant hot for that much. Mage pets hit pair, so dont matter. But necro and enc lvl 49 pets hits for that much: Necro: 47-49-51-52-55 Enc: 45-47-49-51-52 Anyone can explain that?

I think the level 24 or 29 pets don't hit for 22. Go from 20 to 23, or something.

melee combat on p99 is alot different than live, or how live was.
They never had sony's info on melee combat, so in order to balance it the Devs here worked out what appears to the user to be a balancing equation/algorithm. Watch your melee DPS, on any character or pet, the dps ebbs and flows. You will see solid bursts of hit dps then solid bursts of missed hits. Repeats over and over. On live melee dps was more fluid, with your hits and misses being woven tighter together. Both systems still limit a class/level to an appropriate amount of dps. But p99 seems to have a damage cap per minute thing as opposed to the observed balance of dps flow on live. Gotta remember P99 isn't everquest, its an emulation of something that we can never get back. Whatever differences or faults p99 may have from live classic... its safe to say, its the best iteration of EverQuest, that was ever built since live classic. Many have tried.
