Default Back when Sony wouldn't steal from cancer patents for RMT $$$

I'm not sure if anyone remembers, but back in the day Sony teamed up with the Make A Wish Foundation to give a 13 year old boy with muscular dystrophy his wish of fighting virtual dragons. I remember most of the EQ staff logged in with him to kill a whole bunch of dragons, led by the man you love to hate himself, Aradune (aka Brad McQuaid)

Unfortunately, another forum brought to my attention that this brave dragon fighter has recently passed on.

I was a sick kid, I got a wish when I was a kid. Luckily, I grew out of my sickness. Awesome organization.. I donate whenever I can.

I can't believe that they just gave this little casual scumbag free dragon kills and loots, this completely destroys any integrity that classic EQ had. Maybe if this kid had learned how to compete for loot he would have found a greater inner strength and still be alive today.
