Default Class/Race combo you would be most impressed to see at max level?

So I'm a big noob, never been anywhere near the level cap. I had this conversation.

Wife: "Hey my friend plays on project 1999!"
Me: "Really? Wow! What is his character?"
Her: "Level 50 ranger."
Me: "Holy shit that's so hardcore that's the hardest class to level I think!"

Then I was like, wait what is the HARDEST possible class/race combo to get to 50? Like, gnome paladin or something? What could you see running around at max level that would make you flip your lid?

Nothing, its all been done already.

Troll SK is the "hardest" (most time consuming) by the numbers.

Aw, that's the most disappointing response ever. My balloon is popped.

Ok actually, gnome warrior is a pretty good one. Not many warriors of the weaker races at all but especially gnome. So many just go ogre or troll for warrior.

Some of the less popular rogues race are pretty rare too, gnome or dark elf especially.

Ranger isn't particularly rare though and they are pretty limited in race choice so there's no surprising combos with it. There's no gnome/halfling paladins/hybrids in this timeline.

Human Wizards and Necros
Wood Elf and Dark Elf Warriors
Erudite Clerics
Human Monks (post-Kunark)
Iksar Shaman

Love seeing people who say, "IDGAF about your min/max" and go pure FashionQuest all the way to 60.

Doesn't have to be the most xp required, you could also do it on sheer unfitness of a race to be a particular class. Gnome warrior comes to mind, specifically female gnome warrior. There are reeeeeally not a lot of those running around at lvl 50

As pathetic as a 50+ warriors potential is as a solo'r, gnomes are, by far, the best for it.
