I found the Erudin boat announcement message!

The compendium did not list anything for freeport, although he didn't list the BB message either. Perhaps "Freeport Harbormaster" existed as they mentioned in a thread he would do his shout in 'All 3 freeport zones', it is my understanding EQ 2 didn't have 3 zones and they were later merged to 1?

Will have to look into that later.

Excellent work! I’ll get these in tonight. The Freeport harbormaster I believe did exist, but when/if he announced anything is a mystery. It would make sense to shout across the 3 city zones, but i don’t think that happened in qeynos or erudin with their multiple zones.

Aye, seeing as how they don't announce in Butcherblock, my guess is freeport wasnt implemented. Probably a case of Luclin pushed it to the back burner, and then spire travel became the norm, and later PoK books, thus forgotten.

Was there ever an iceclad arrival / departure message? I know in the next patch that boat will be removed and just be teleported by the gnomes (such a pity), but not sure if you found it for green server.
