Bloodgills in LOIO are the best solo xp in the game in the 40s if you are able to kill them without much downtime. It's even fast as a duo. 12 spawns happening every 12-15 min or so, they range from lvl 35-39. There is definitely an underwater ZEM that's noticeable. I believe they hit slightly harder than the tundra yeti's but have less hp.

Most casters don't attempt gills until 44ish due to resists. But a twinked ranger with harmony/snare should be able to handle these. Assuming you can afford your own EB item, it's worth a shot. If too hard, definitely attempt again at 44-45.

Crystal Caverns must have a good Zem, took my solo Rogue twink there and did 43-45 really easy. If Geo's are camped do tentacles good xp and rarely camped.

Rough fight low 40s, but low hp mobs and very good exp. You can easily split the pairs. They can take you to 51, maybe 52 if you’re stubborn.

I don’t think different parts of zones can have different zems. Never heard of that. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

My bad, it wouldn't be a ZEM at that point, but I had read elsewhere that there were underwater xp bonuses in this game. Part of the reason why kedge used to be so ridiculous xp. It had a ZEM & underwater bonus which the former was reduced. I'm not 100% sure on this though, but gills have always felt faster xp compared to soloing other mobs of a similar level.

The ZEM in Loio is good because of the starter area that is attached to the zone. At least that's what I have been told. The zone it self has an average ZEM. But yes 45-51 bloodgills are awesome.

Bloodgills are quick because the monsters themselves have low hit points for their level so they're quick and easy to beat. The zone experience modifier for Lake of Ill Omen is mediocre at best.

Fear kiting animals in EJ was decent.

I concur, EJ is an oft-overlooked, never-crowded zone that offers some fear kiting opportunities. I'd advise staying near a zone wall or zone-out spot though. It's easy to get turned around in the zone.
