Which windows version is better?
I can get any windows from 7 and on.
Which one would you folks recommend? 7 or 8 or 10? I have Titanium ISO's.

Windows 10 works perfectly fine. Never had any issues as long as you Set the EQ executable to compatibility mode.

I had some issues on the first win10 PC I tried but then bought my own and it was fine.
7+8 never gave me any issues.

Do you guys think this is good enough to run EQ?
Was just looking for a super cheap windows 10 laptop. Trying to avoid refurbished once. If you have any recommendations I'll gladly take them. https://www.amazon.com/TECLAST-Lapto...dp/B09FK3FT75/

The HD500 integrated GPU is probably on the lowest end for 3d, it's natively directx 12, GL, and vulkan. So your OS will use a wrapper to upgrade the dx9 calls the titanium client uses.
Honestly I would look for a slightly better integrated GPU.

Thank you. I installed windows for now in the virtual box. Waiting on laptop, maybe it'll run better.
Whole game is fubar. No button for the options on the bottom left. It's just gone. Can't see people, just weapons they are carrying are floating in the air, game runs super slow, laggy as hell. Sorry guys, this might be a total fail, might just give up if I can't get it to run. Tried that lavishsoft too, no difference. Tried running under win 98 compatability... still same issues.

Missing textures is due to improperly installing the v55 patch. Reinstall Titanium (not in program files - use any other directory), and when you apply the patch don't replace entire folders - just the files within the folders. If you use 7-zip the default "extract files here..." will only overwrite duplicate files and not the entire subfolders.
P99 does not have an "options" button - that's out of era. In-game options are reached through alt+o. Using virtual box make sure you have 3d passthrough or acceleration for your igpu or dgpu enabled. I use VM workstation and it's just a checkbox to enable 3d acceleration on the vm. -Mcoy

Oh and that laptop you linked uses a 5 year old passively-cooled celeron with (as starkind said) one of the worst possible igpu's out there. I'd avoid that system for anything other than web browsing or word processing as once it warms up it'll thermal throttle and you'll feel like you're actually using a system from the 90's.

For VM do you use 32 bit or 64 bit? I've used 64 bit, not sure if that's part of the problem. It lags heavily. Mouse cursor practically doesn't move, delayed by at least 30 seconds or longer at times.

32 bit works, 64 was just lagging. But on every version doesn't show players or npc's. This is so buggy.
