As a competitive raider on WoW the raid scene on Green makes no sense to me.

Actually, the high-end raiding guilds get massively better gear than everyone else, and then go stomp people in PVP. So yes, being in a top guild has some pretty massive advantages in WoW compared to... EverQuest where... the players who went before you put 18 hour days into looting an item you'll probably get handed to you while you casually raid later on down the road.

I'm not going to give away my secret, but farming plat is dramatically easier pre-kunark. There's a reason guards all get buffed once it dropped. I can easily make 10K a day while tabbed out watching youtube and doing exercise in my room. All that will go away once Kunark goes, and I know for a fact that while I have several hundred thousand plat saved up, most of my raider friends don't even have enough money to pay their weekly dues.

Don't humor this idiocy. those guards won't give anywhere near those numbers, The ones in town have something ridiculous like 25 minute respawn time. The tiny handful of thicket spawns are only around 6 minutes but there is always competition for them. i think even if no other players existed on P99 you'd be lucky to ever make much more than 500ish plat per hour clearing both wall and town.

Yeah probably true. You can make a good amount per hour on the two level 30 rangers in surefall (I think about 300pp roughly). Treants probably more per hour than that. HGs possibly more but it’s hit or miss with them.

But there aren’t any super secret plat camps in classic, and certainly not some super secret guard plat situations lol

The best part about this is how Recondojoe tried to act like the rest of the server was toxic and unstable and he was some holier than thou person. Then he has zero life and creates multiple 50s in a short period of time only to have a whiney meltdown and delete them apparently. So mentally stable right?
