Enchanter pet commands?

Are you able to command enchanter pets to do things like necro pets? I cant seem to get mine to attack anything.

The animations can't be controlled. You need to get attacked and they will attack the mob in turn.
The only command they follow is /pet get lost.

They are very useful, particularly at low levels. At higher levels charm pets have no equal.
