Help with UI

Hello all,

My UI just looks plain bad...I've downloaded Duxa as well as classic and a couple others....They all look the same when I load it in-game. The login splash-screen changes so I know its loading but its still the same as the generic one upon first install. I am also missing the "EQ" button and have to ctrl-O for my menus.

Can someone please guide me to a nice UI...and aside from unzipping it into the UI files folder, let me know if there is anything else I need to do to make it look good (multiple hot-bard, extended slots etc).

Are you playing on Green? If so Custom UIs are disabled and the default one is the only option. As for the EQ button it was out of era and removed. (Alt-O for options)

Theres no way to have multiple hotbars or exdended slots. You can setup multiple pages of the single hotbar though and Shift 1, Shift 2, etc will flip the pages. Each page will all share the same hotkeys however

You can make the UI look a little better, but thats about all you can do. Right click on any of the windows and:

Window > Background > Texture (Turns the window white)
Window > Background > Tint Color (Pick any reasonable color)

Social buttons may be hard to read as well and you can change the font color to something darker to make them readable

If you are on Blue, custom UIs are allowed. Its just a matter of adding the duxa or other custom UI folder to the uifiles folder and loading it in game through the options or /load. Still no EQ button or multiple hotbars on blue. Those and many other features didnt appear until a 2004 UI upgrade/update

Aha, this is exactly what I've been looking for! So, out of curiosity, will custom UI's ever be added to green? Is there a schedule of updates being pushed? Thank you for this info, at least I know I'm not crazy now!!
