Thought it is interesting that rural California is seeking independence from urban/costal California. Apparently they'll be setting up a new state government and in one to two years, they'll start working with the California state government to separate. will be interesting if this happens.

The whole idea of "the State of Jefferson" goes way back to pre-WW2 times..

The idea is the rural forest area is different than all the cities that "represent" the people of this area. South CA is absolutely nothing like North CA...

The problem is that the culture is Oregon is moving against this sort of thing... It is getting more urban along the southern coast and there isn't as many red necks per capita.

And this is very much a red neck movement.

That must be the more updated map. The rest of the counties -- as Pokesan notes - are no longer high enough on opiates.
