Nah, it's totally legit. Could do it all in front of a GM. They would probably just laugh or high-five you. There are many ways to survive a fight and many ways to recover from a battle...some might consider... unnatural.

I have a SSF rogue that I play occasionally, up to level 29 now. I am limiting myself to classic until 50.

I mean you could do a series of 10 second kites, re-engaging only to do a round of attacks and a side/ghost step backstab, but that would be tedious as hell.

A similar strategy is to kite while doing an intimidate and get back in combat just before that special kick (hopefully) lands and then maintaining dps until fear breaks to repeat.

Personally I use a tonne of potions while soloing on melee. Usually I'll fight things that don't need potion assistance, but if RNG goes bad I'll chug a few potions. There are some strategies to offset the downsides of many potions too.

Something else I'll do is beat down a mob to 3% on a high level toon then switch over to finish the kill on a lower level melee. Great way to PL through the 40s. Maybe pushing the definition of solo. Similarly it is helpful to break camps with higher level alts before switching over to the xp toon.

There are a few heal NPCs, they are usually cheap, but impractical most of the time. IIRC there is one in cauldron and nek forest. In Rivervale there are two options.

I'm sure whatever secret strategy you are sitting on is more effective than these, but hopefully I've been an actual useful poster by providing some meaningful jumping off points for ideas.

So far it's mostly a mix of banded and reinforced, a couple pieces of reinforced are same AC as banded, but lighter weight. Scarab rings, resistance earrings from Nillipuss quest, Collar of Undead Protection, and RBF for some resist gear. Weapons are Dragoon Dirk and PGT. 13 dmg fletched bow for kiting when necessary.

I plan to make ornate chain eventually, wanted to get a bit higher so I can farm some plat for the tradeskill grind. Weapon goals for classic are Burning Rapier and Polished Steel Dirk.

Polished Steel Dirk.
The Qeynos Spectres are tougher than the others.

I would be curious if you could solo one at 60.

Would be cool to see anyway.

I started at 17 and it took 31 Dorn kills to get the dirk. I was 19 when it dropped.
