14% tanks when you only need 16% tanks to have 1 per full group. When more than just warrior, pal, and SK CAN actually tank. ANd when the non-tank classes are the ones who will often NOT be looking for groups and therefore relatively increasing the number of available tanks?
It's fine. Raids will be weird. XPing will be fine.

Not at all surprised druids are leading the pack. They are pretty good in this era, and they get so many fun tools. I've never really played one before, but having mained wizard and paladin previously, my new druid feels like easy mode.
What's that? Druid nukes are 95% as good as an equal level wizard, but they can also heal, regen, SoW, DoT, charm animals, snare at level 1, track, etc? Well okay then. Druid it is this time around!

Seriously, you don't need tanks for classic unless you are raiding.
A necro or chanter can solo most if not all camps in Lguk. I guess a necro would have a harder time in the live side. Even a druid and another healer (let alone a chanter) can crush most of SolB. Mage (of which there are plenty) pet can tank fine with someone casting root (or earth pet). Classic isn't hard, you don't even need tanks. A shaman can tank anything with slows (again, except raids). Now Kunark, shit is gonna get real then. Verant corrected their EZ mode mobs in lizard land 50+.

I'd be curious how the numbers pan out now we are a few days in.

1230am est 10/31
Druid 212 - 13.5% Enchanter -192 - 12.3% Shaman -171 10.9% Necro - 153 - 9.8% Cleric - 136 - 8.7% Mage -135 - 8.6% Bard- 94 - 6% War -88 - 5.6% Rog -83 - 5.3% Monk- 76 - 4.8% Wiz - 59 - 3.7% SK - 58 - 3.7% Pal- 55 - 3.5% Ranger- 49 - 3.1% Comparatively to the first numbers I had pulled monks and clerics dropped the most as a percentage of the population. Wouldn't read too much into a single data point, although its certainly possible human night vision may have turned some people off to monks!

Did frenzy and magus on red pre level 50. Would die sometimes on magus, but frenzy is super easy just sending in the adds to die as charmed pets one after the other

I think the large number of druids, enchanters and even necros and shamans tells us something about the demographic... People are older, don't have time and want to be able to solo.
That is how I see it anyway. I would have rolled a cleric if I thought I had the time to group every day, I don't.
