No. Pay to win is never a good thing. It's a sign bad game design.

I'm not going to defend P99 against Phinny because of the shithole P99 has become, but try to keep it to facts.

Nobody should be paying microtransactions or subscriptions on top of buying a boxed game.

That shit's just not right.

Sold one item on eBay before they stopped the virtual sales and they got moved to player auctions. Got $300 western unioned to me for a Wurmslayer.

EQ is no longer a boxed game its free to download and F2P on the non-premium servers. While I understand your argument and generally agree that pay to win isn't ideal. Let's not pretend that RMT hasn't occurred since the dawn of EQ-time on every server that has ever existed (Including P99 sorry kids)

I heard you have to sign a contract when you join BDA though. Something like anything you get while you're in the guild you have to forfeit if you leave. Is this true?
