Just turn music volume all the way down from in-game options.

So I opened Sound Assets and found the file itemclth.wav. I tried to delete and save but am being denied access.

Move your EQ directory out of Program Files, or run Notepad with administrative privileges.

I replaced bag and box opening sounds with .wav files from a Halloween sound effects CD I got for graduation.

I have a question about this. I've been able to change the sound file that plays for certain sounds, but I can't figure out how to change the volume of the sound file that plays. I don't mean the in-game volume controls (I can control those fine) I mean the default volume level of the .wav file I want to play.

I have my backpacks bound to open and close all at once and for some reason it is amplifying the sound to ridiculous levels. Does anyone know the name of these two files ? I would like to delete them rather than download some third party program. Thanks.
How dare you delete them... [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Yeah I mean, I love all of the sounds in EQ, it's just some of the volume levels are way too loud, and that might not be classic. In fact, I don't really remember any sound volume issues with the original/Trilogy client - at least not to the extent of the Titanium client's issues. Hence why I made these sound packages.
