What if the power elites just want to use you as human shields against God's angels when they return?

The stuff with the Congress is actually a lot more disturbing. The entire democratic party appears to be ready to pass these bills. The exception is 2 senators who are openly linked to the industries that want the bill to die. Joe Manchin likes to put on a show, and that's all to be expected. However, there is no evidence that West Virgina supports Manchin's conservative policies. They favored the minimum wage increase that Manchin was instrumental in killing, for example. The show is for his donors, not his voters. It's also an easy excuse for corporate democrats. "We wanted to pass the bill but that dratted Joe Manchin bested us again." He's the fall guy and they like him. Kyrsten Sinema is a different story. She was elected like 5 minutes ago, but is demanding the bills be separated so she can have one without the other. Unlike Manchin -- there is no track record to go on here, no insider relationships etc. She won't even articulate her problems with the bill in private. Here is a write up on some of this: https://www.opensecrets.org/news/202...ball-spending/ Quote:
This doesn't look like a brilliant DC political maneuver if you want to stay in the Senate. It really only makes sense with the assumption that she has been promised a lot in the private sector after she tanks this bill. She is an avatar of everything wrong with modern democratic party -- with basically no redeeming qualities. She is super woke, and guilty of calling sexism every time she is criticized. Meanwhile, she basically agrees with McConnel on fiscal policy. It's all about the debt (when its for you -- not me). She represents just one more step toward tearing down any semblance that representatives are anything except corporate fundraisers that go with the highest bidder.

WV went from Trump+41 in 2016 to Trump+39 in 2020.
Let's do it! There's totally room to primary Manchin from the left. This is a great plan

Not gonna though. Sinema is different because she is from Arizona and the rightwing christian thing isn't what it used to be out there. The other senator from Arizona is a democrat that supports the bill.

Good lord fighting for what the majority of what Americans want (Basic democratic values) in every poll is not saying death to America wtf?! (Squad or not)
They push for 15 min wage, 60%+ public approve. Free College 60+% Universal health care 55%+ (Medicare asked question) and paid maternity leave 60%+ Legalization of pot 63%+ There is no scenario of a platform on the opposite side even sounding normal when you consider the global community let alone such a radical ass backwards evaluation. Source https://www.cnbc.com/2019/03/27/majo...e-college.html Can find more sources if you just find the polls its almost always the same even when fox polls which is nuts Unless oh herk derk republicans who don't think govt has a function don't want it to work saying we cant have functional govt

Edit: I find it deliciously ironic that these liberal universities are continuing to rip their students off and put them into lifelong debt with their tuition rates while pushing the merits of socialism on them
