Auto Spec for Mages?
Hey all,
Not sure if its just me or not, but when I hit level 20 I went to go train and I noticed I already had 1 point into alteration specialization. Needless to say I am a magician now specced for alteration. I did not pick this as my spec and it seemed like it did it automatically. I put 1 point into my other specs and they instantly shot up to 20. Is this suppose to be happening? Is there a way I can reset my specs so I can spec the way I want to? Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks,

You get specialization skill points to all the spell divisions. You are not specialized until you go over 50 (or whatever the magic number is). 1 point, or 20 does not determine what you're specialized in.
And yes, you can reset specialization by a quest in the temple of solusek ro. I think it involves turning in some rubies. It should be easy to find in Allah's.

This doesn't mean you are stuck with Alteration as your specialization.
All of the specialized skills can go up to 50. All that matters is which one goes to 51. The first skill to 51 will be the one you can specialize to 200.

Your specialization isn't locked in until you reach 50 skill. Maybe you got a skillup when you cast the pet heal?
