Quest Issue: Gatorsmash Maul Quest

So I've sat here for much longer than what ought to be necessary for Bouncer Gronk to despawn and be replaced with Ambassador K'Ryn. According to various threads here, most people have trouble getting him to spawn, and only one post claims to have succeeded. I've seen a Gatorsmash Maul in-game, though, so it must work, although perhaps not in the way it should.

At 8am exactly, the bouncer de-spawns.
At around 9:30am this guy spawns.

According to Allakhazam, the Ambassador should spawn without player interaction, but this doesn't happen. I suspect the problem to be that Bouncer Gronk doesn't despawn by himself as he should and that the Ambassador can only be spawned by killing Gronk.

guard despawns at 8am, spawns ambassador. ambassador despawns at 8pm, spawns guard

8am Gronk still there, 9am Gronk still there, 10am gronk still there, 11am gronk still there.

So I decided to kill Gronk. Gronk respawns, killed him again, Gronk respawns, killed him again... 8am no spawn, 9am no spawn, 10am no spawn, 11am no spawn, around 12-1pm Gronk spawns... I'm all out of ideas. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
