Question Desktop Goes Bright after Alt+Tabbing

Anyone have this issue?

I've had it for 10+ years and I'm just now annoyed enough to post about it.

When I tab out of P99 my whole desktop (everything) goes brighter like it's on max brightness. Then when I close P99 it goes back to normal.

Yeah pretty standard stuff. I believe this problem only happens to me on Windows 7. Are you on 7?

Figured it out.

In my NVIDIA graphics card settings, I choose "Use NVIDIA Settings" everywhere I had that option. I now have consistent brightness everywhere.

try this out https://justgetflux.com/ … helped me out immensely to restore the normal desktop color without having to exit the Everquest app completely.
