An assement of the toxicity and vulnerability of P99 population.

So --- today I went to SolA AT LEVEL 24 with some random ppl they were good ppl. Pretty decent at the game. It was a WIZARD and an ENCHANTER and a MAGE GRP we should have been able to hold down singe/mines and we did pretty good clearing upto and past that 1st bridge, exCepT....

Here in lies the problem... all the mobs were dark blue to us save 1.

And the zone was full of high lvls with 50+ gear and they just ran around killing everything willy nilly with no regard for the exp grp trying to scrape by and keep their mobs safely timed.

So we got trained by singe like 50x without any charm pets up and had to wait like 2 hrs for a mob to spawn because every 22 mins some new random AFK player would log in, run through the zone kill shit then log out or flop at the ZL.

They didn't even loot the good drops.

This is sickness.

Ya'll are playing wow or masturbating to anime porn while tabbing into SolA and denying ppl pixels and delicious exp and adventures because ur fat lazy ass can't go kill in a normal lvl 45+ dungeon or fight tizmaks in a corner like a good samaritin, citizen, netizen.

I think this is going to eventually destroy P99 and it just drives people to find a corner of norrath to do this same behavior in and kill mobs every 6 minutes while staring at a wall instead of adventuring as BRAD intended.

Now... when I hit lvl 50 I guess I could go back and do the SAME THING to a group... as a mage I have a legitimate ExCuSe tho i cant flop or invis without losing pet, although at lvl 55 plus u should be able to run in and summon ur pet wherever... and if ur a melee u are sad. Actually the melees were the least bad except this monk who was farming greens for exp and just didnt give a fuck.

I'm not shaming them because some are alright and cool ppl and even tho they are kinda dumb idiots and reckless with the way they DISRUPTED MY DAMN SPECIAL ZONE AND PLAY TIME. I do believe they were genuinely not mad/being greedy. They are just ignorant of how this crap effects the server.

TLDR.

EVERYONE IS AN AFK FLAME AGATE and GAME IS DEAD needs/pick zone. So these losers can afk farm 300000k plat for their manastone and holgresh beads in peace, or we should enable training and Kill STealiNG. and get rid of PnP so ppl have to actually be attentive and play or they get nothing done.

Also: an important addendumb and final completion to my self talk:

It is not the power of positive thinking, however one day I will be a lvl 60 mage without epic and likely using a lvl 52 water pet or something to do the same thing while I gear alts with trash drops.

So no hard feelings even to the aggressors on this project. I just don't think anyone has a clue.

I mean the upside is that the zone is being used.

False. They are absolutely being greedy

I leveled solo from like 30-43ish almost exclusively in SolA, basically until the solusek/inferno goblins stopped giving exp, forgot what level that was

When I was leveling the majority of high level players would stop their killing, then in /ooc or a /tell to me ask if I was exp'ing there, and when I said yeah, they would ask what section I wanted (usually designated as left or right side of gate, or like bar versus goblin king side), and take the other side. Or some would just graciously leave

After having proper etiquette demonstrated to me, I mirrored it when I farmed there after the mobs stopped giving exp. Any time I saw lowbies leveling there, I packed up my shit and gated out. It's the good mannered thing to do

Ya I'm not super confrontational. I didn't make much exp but both my group mates were pretty decently geared for mid lvls not uber... and they let me keep the loot even tho I tried shoving stacks of ore down their faces.

I'm not mad. I'm being observant and this is kinda how DBT rolls. Like the experience wasn't all 100% good and bad.

And ya I wish people were more considerate. It's also against my values to demand they be more considerate without having a way to make them. And not to force ppl to do shit.

It is very good to point that out and you are still right unsunghero, that is the upstanding thing to do. Point out the error of their ways and move on with life in my book. I'm not going to die.

It will probably make lesser people quit the server and just reinforce bad behavior in any real newbies p99 gets. SO there is that consideration as well.

I'll accept that I'm a part of the problem for not being more aggressive or something.

Like I don't want to be a jannie either, i would rather force enable pvp, disable pnp, and trains and let ppl just be mega dorks while programatically limiting them to 1 login account only. And making it super hard to powerlvl alts so that it was more costly to do dumb shit on a character.
