Client is 100% of the reason I'm not actively playing TAKP right now. I think if the client wasn't such poo it'd be a lot more popular. Say what you want about classic or w/e but VERY VERY FEW people are willing to stomach first person no mousewheel zoom everquest. The boxing issue is overstated as always. It's not that big of a deal really.

- New Camera - We've added a new camera mode to the game. Lovingly
dubbed the EQ Cam, it uses the mouse wheel to allow you to zoom away
from your character into a "chase" camera. This only works from first
person mode (the default view). Using the mouse wheel you can determine
the distance of the camera from your character, or to zoom back into
first person mode. When in the chase mode, mouselook turns the
character and camera together and you can change the pitch of the
camera using the mouse.

If p99 wants to be as authentic as it should be, mouse zoom shouldn't be a thing here either.

bro there are dozens of things that P99 has enabled/allows that are NOT accurate to timeline

off the top of my head:

item links
super easy channeling
P99 rogues have shroud of stealth, its a PoP AA. Rogues on p99 should not be able to sneak around sebilis, ToV, Kael, etc. its bullshit.

I post this info at least once a month, and it goes no where.
