You should watch Come and See. One of the most horrifying movies I’ve ever seen. Here’s the full movie on YouTube. If you aren’t convinced, read the reviews. https://youtu.be/NJYOg4ORc1w

good question. it's hard to narrow down without some criteria. do you care how old it is? are there particular subgenres you want/don't want? (supernatural elements/scifi/demons/monsters/psychological etc)

recent:

hereditary
it follows
the babadook

old:

apocalypse trilogy (the thing (1982), prince of darkness, in the mouth of madness)

worth mentioning:

in search of darkness (documentary about 1980-1990 horror movies)

My favorite movie of all time is Dawn of the Dead, extended version. It’s like 2.5 hrs, it was such a fantastic freaking movie for like decades it was just hands-down the most epic science-fiction, collapse, zombie movie, that had ever been made!

I love day of the dead too I’m so nostalgic for that music with the “hellllooooooo” over it.

I actually have a picture of myself in Fort Myers Florida at one of the locations for that opening scene somewhere!

It’s fun to play through dead rising part one, maybe once every four or five years because it is a great video game adaptation of those old movies!

I was mostly letting other people categorize how they like to give me a wide variety to investigate.

Never seen Prince of Darkness or that documentary. Will be investigating further, thanks!

The documentary is actually fairly recent,..

John carpenter's apocalypse trilogy is godly.

(The Thing is my favorite movie of all time,
the other two movies are just icing on the cake)

When I was a kid my mom used to tell me this was officially the scariest movie ever made, and I thought it like was a registered fact.

I watched it and was like mom this has nothing on Freddy.

Later i found out she thought it was so scary because she thought it was like, really real and happens all the time, and is like, basically a true story and could happen to any of us lol

lol poor mom [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
