Looking at population graphs red isn't actually that much deader than it was in the past.

Red's top number of players (since recording population - oct 2017), was Mar 12, 2018 with 194 players.

To compare, blues peek was 2141 on mar 3rd 2019. At that time red was at 109.

Red definitely hit in the 300s during 2015ish.

I'd believe it, I wasn't tracking population at the time. Seeing that blue hit 2k in the last year was a bit of a surprise. I guess that was around when chardok came out?
