Default Etched Stone Quest

Wiki says that this level 49 spell Life Leech spell requires level 50+.

Can a level 49 SK complete this quest if he has the plat and items for turn in?

Or is level 50 and higher definitely required?

It's not a fight you can solo at 49 IIRC, but I did it at 49 on live.

The spell's a huge lifetap with a longer timeout than normal. You'd want to devote a spell slot to it.

I wanted to double back to confirm that a 49 SK can complete this quest.

Thanks to all those who helped me with the Monstrous Zombie kill.

This spell even worth getting outside of spellbook completion? Nice LT but such a long CD to keep on the bar seems not-so-good. Already seeing issues with all the diff taps we get and the necessary spells to always have on bar.

On Green its great.

May be less effective on blue at say 60, but it'll be extremely helpful in leveling up to that point if the SK solos or duos a bit.

It's a less important spell in groups although great agro in a single spell until lev 57 lifetap which doesn't have the recast issue.

Overall I haven't found a SK that doesn't think its worth it yet, although at 60 its probably not used as much as on the way there.
