Default Cliff Golem Spell Drop rate broken.

The Spell drop rate on Cliff golem appears to be broke. A friend and I killed Cliff Golems the other night. We killed about 50 Golems before a single Spell dropped. I think the drop rate is broken. Wiki says Uncommon Drop on 55+ Kunark spells, so I assume that means you should at least get some kind of spell every 1-5 kills or so.

I've never camped golems for this reason. I have heard anecdotally that spells are closer to 10% drop from Golems.

It’s uncommon, the one guard that goes into bank has better drop rate but can’t drop 60 spells iirc. Can get nice stuff like bane and vog tho

I can't figure out how to research this. I can't seem to find information from in ERA about how high or low the spell drop rate was.

Sadly not in era info for p99 but the oldest entry in the wayback machine for an OT cliff golem on magelo is circa Feb 2007 with 23 spells observed having dropped over 61 kills. Roughly 37% chance to drop a spell, but not necessarily the specific spell you're looking for. My guess would be that it should either be 35 or 40% to drop a spell. EQ devs loved using drop rates on the 5 or 10%.
