It is kinda of genius because it allows for true competition instead of that 4 am bullshit with the unemployed, AND allows smaller guilds to compete for other targets if they all pop and are only able to be killed at the same time. But then again.....#NOTCLASSIC

If I was a smaller weaker guild rather than the one that is 10 strong, I would think that me and my two friends would want to be as much of a pain as possible just for olde tymes sake. We might even get some kettle corn and a wooden sign made with our name cut into it while we're at it. For old tymes sake. I might have even agreed to something like this just so I could immediately break my promise. For old times sake.

Just petition for more earthquakes to fix all these locked in dragon timers. TBH I thought all dragons were up.

its always some weirdos like ordaga and tune living in their mothers trailers that ruins these servers by setting timers at like 4 AM so no normal wagie or salaryman can participate in the game

Listening to people like Ordaga in teamspeak discuss their job at subway and how their parents shut off his internet killed my immersion. Voice chat sucks, I don’t want to hear the people I play with, I don’t want to know how many dogs they have or how poor they are, I just want to slay a dragon in the land of Norrath. If I want to listen to depressing people with depressing lives I’ll just speak to more of my clients.

Hear, hear

Learn to type while running and battling all you scalliwags.

I'll even dedicate a window to tells and group and guild chat.

dunno if trolling or not. Then why did you talk so much in voice? I think I was the only one that never said a peep (until near the end) and used it to just listen to orders.

But I agree that EQ does NOT need voice. Its a slow paced game and I remember in Temerity on EQmac we never used it, raid instructions were given in guildchat and it worked out fine.

re: pvp,. voicechat and unclassic mousewheel cheapened EQ pvp. Made it too easy to assist train people down. I remember when voice entered into shadowbane mainstream too, did the SAME thing. Instead of more chaotic and spread out mass pvp, it became a very boring game of /assist target and spam insta kill everyone one by one (and vice versa). It became a game of one tactic and not nearly as fun as the pre voice days.

Getting RID of mousewheel would be a huge help for classic EQ pvp on red.

Palemoon is bad and dumb. We would still /assist people with no mousewheel or voive chat, your dumb ass would just be exposed.

And i want the mouse wheel removed for a classic server
