Game Mechanics: Death loop - help!

I bound myself near the giant fort in EW. I then ported out to buy some things, then gated back. When I entered EW, I fell from the sky and died. This happened several times, over and over. Now, every time I log in I am falling and die. Please help!

Try /quit just before you hit the ground.
