Difficulty of enchanter epic these days

So I’m getting the strange notion that I might just end up doing the enchanter epic, which would be the first epic I’ve ever done.

Searching the forums about it has turned up a bunch of threads about how Verina Tomb and Vessel Drozlin are permacamped, and tend to be the bottlenecks.

That said, these posts all seem to be from before Green’s release.

So I’m wondering, with the lower pop these days, are those mobs any more attainable?

Further, with the new change prohibiting encs from charming merchants, are Verina Tomb and Cazel still soloable?

VT is still doable. VD is absolutely horrendous with about 10 poop sockers. Most on watchers with enchanters ready but lately there have been level 60 warr and monks who get instant agro. It’s ridiculous.

Yeah for whatever reason it's way more annoying to sell VD loot rights than VT

VT is probably not soloable anymore since Draan N`Ryt is no longer charmable. VD is a horrible camp but no impossible. Hopefully they change this window to 48-96 hours which is inline with the classic spawn time as this would help open up the camp quite a bit more.

VD is solo-able but just getting him (FTE) is a huge problem. He is heavily socked I got extremely lucky and he spawned at like 5A EST one time and the people watching fell asleep or something and I had time to get a charm and come solo him. So yea essentially the only reason I have VD done is because I play super-silly late at night and got lucky, I wish I had better news for you but this is just how it seems with VD right now unless staff decides to reduce his spawn window like VT

Soloing him is kind of dicey without a Wand of allure / reaper, he hits hard and is magic immune, so you will take some serious damage (if not die outright) if charm breaks. But if the stars align with no charm break a hasted dual wielding guards with a few bedlam's on the pet will solo kill VD

VT is easier to stabilize because she is slow-able and can be raptured. However with the Vendor immune to charm change has the issue of not having any easily available strong charms, the neriak guards are pretty weak when compared to VT even after slow

TLDR; If you get luck or can get VD then its time to work and on and finish the rest of the epic. Otherwise don't worry about it too much until you get VD

the only actual bottleneck is the serpent's head from fear

but if you actively raid it shouldn't be a problem


but VT is a horrible camp but its manageable and sometimes guild chanters keep

track of it
