Default Graphics failing to load

Hello all,

Returning player, been gone for about a year and a half. Starting fresh on the green server. Redownloaded the game and everything today and when I log in, the only thing that loads are my character, other player characters and NPCs. No floor, walls, ceiling...nothing. Anybody have any idea what I can do to fix this please?

Also, the game starts in windows mode. i know how to fix it ingame but is there something i can do tp have it load up in full screen?

When you patch the game by extracting the p99files archive you need to only replace the files in the various folders and not the folders themselves. The patch only changes some contents so replacing the folders removes assets the game needs - such as world graphics.

Don't install to program files - or if you do, make sure you run eqgame.exe as an admin otherwise it can't "remember" your settings because it can't write to that protected folder. Just copy it out to c:\games\everquest or something and you'll save yourself future headaches.

EQClient.ini should have a "windowedmode" line. Set that to true.
