What is this error message?
So I got this error today.
"The exception unknown software exception (0xc0000005) occurred in the application at location 0x10001c6b Click on OK to terminate the program" I started the game two minutes before I got this error message. I alt-entered to full screen, I got some other error message, and it closed down EQ. Then I started it back up, and I am getting this error each time...how do I get out of this? Thank you! **EDIT** The first error message I got while trying to make it full screen said this "ResetDevice() failed!" and an OK button on the bottom...

This sounds like it could be caused either by the game using a bad resolution and crashing, or a memory error. I would check your eqclient.ini and make sure all of your set resolutions look tip-top and trying it again, and then if that doesn't work, or if it only fixes one of your problems try reinstalling and see if that helps.

Just means the executable couldn't reacquire your device (interface to your graphics card).

Thank you!
How do I fix this? I am now able to play EQ2 but when I full screen it, it then shuts down and that 0xc0000005 error shows up when I try to play it again. What do you mean by making sure my eqclient.ini looks good? I have messed with it before but I have no idea how it should look.

Change the resolution.. you can edit the ini... or you can use my installer just pick "change resolution" option.. see my sig for link.
Set the resolution to whatever your monitor's defaults are.
