Can't see the world after last patch

I can see players and mobs, doors, and some objects like bushes and torches but most of the world just shows up blank. Any idea why?

Were you using any modified texture files or anything like that?

Make sure the depth of colour is set to 32 bit. If any of your settings anywhere are set to 16 then the world textures will just disappear.
